Mayer Brown LLP has become the latest Washington, DC law firm to make the switch to Swiss Post Solutions! Our showcase operation, which opened in late 2008, provides reprographics, mail, and fax services.
Mayer Brown made the decision to switch to Swiss Post Solutions from their previous vendor based on a number of factors, including cost and service. In addition, Mayer Brown has experienced the Swiss Post Solutions difference first-hand in their New York office for more than a year.
"We are pleased to have the opportunity to bring the same levels of service, passion and professionalism that we have been providing in New York to Mayer Brown's DC office," said Mitchell D. Weiner, CEO, North America. "We look forward to a long and successful partnership."

Swiss Post Solutions has experienced tremendous success over the past five years as we have focused on building a strong foundation for our organization. We have expanded our service offerings and welcomed many new clients to the SPS family, while behind the scenes we have made substantial investments in our people, technology, and infrastructure. As a result, we have consistently experienced double-digit growth year after year and set the stage for our national expansion.
To help us meet our goal of becoming a national outsourcing powerhouse, we recently launched our E3: Evolve – Expand – Excel initiative, which will help us take the business we have grown so successfully and bring it to the next level.
"The three components of this initiative will have a positive impact on all areas of our operation," according to Jim Caton, Chief Operating Officer. Here is a brief overview:

The passion of our employees has always been part of the Swiss Post Solutions corporate culture. To help focus our employees on the success of our company and our clients, as well as their own personal success, we recently rolled out the "BELIEVE" mantra which epitomizes our way of doing business.
"The 'BELIEVE' mantra is based on the idea of the A-HA moment," said Mike Mannix, Divisional Vice President. "Every person has a moment when their life's mission becomes clear. It is that moment when their passion becomes the driving force behind their daily activity. It's what makes a job a career, not just a paycheck."
On a professional level, the "BELIEVE" mantra encourages our employees to value their role within the organization, to go the extra mile in providing exceptional service to our clients, and to work hard as part of their team. On a personal level, it focuses on helping employees believe in themselves: setting goals, taking risks, and self-improvement.
The Swiss Post Solutions "BELIEVE" Team, a group of field employees and managers representing a cross-section of our employee population is currently driving the initiative, with activities planned at our site locations.

Active corporate citizenship is an important part of the Swiss Post Solutions culture. Here are just a few of our recent community activities:
New York Cares Day
Swiss Post Solutions employees and their families showed their community spirit on New York Cares Day, the annual event dedicated to sprucing up local schools. Over 8,000 volunteers from around the region came together at 122 schools on New York’s largest day of service.
The Swiss Post Solutions team helped paint the gymnasium, move boxes, and create murals at PS 188, on the Lower East Side of Manhattan. In addition to serving as an elementary public school, the facility houses Girls Prep School (a free public charter school for girls in grades K-4) and serves as a community center for the local neighborhood.

Annual Toy Drive
Thank you to our clients, employees, strategic partners, and friends for their generosity in supporting the 2008 Swiss Post Solutions Toy Drive. Our 13th annual event supported key local charities, including New York Foundling Hospital and Hale House. Our combined efforts helped brighten the holidays for hundreds of kids in the metropolitan New York area.
Congratulations to Random House, a long-time supporter of this event, for winning this year's Toy Drive Challenge as our top client participant.
