MailSource UK Promote Environmental Drive
With global attention now focused on environmental sustainability and accountability more closely than ever, MailSource UK is committed to playing it's part.
MailSource UK is currently working to attain Environmental Management Standard ISO14001:2004 accreditation by the end of 2007.
MailSource UK have reviewed and updated our Environmental Policy to make sure that it complies both with ISO14001 and the requirements of our ever growing business. Whilst this endeavor is being driven by Head Office, it falls to our staff working at our client's sites to ensure the success of this initiative. All findings on improved and updated processes are transmitted to every operation on each of our client's sites.
In conjunction with the above, MailSource UK’s Centre of Excellence for the Environment is pleased to announce the launch of an initiative to improve the company’s environmental performance and to support our Client Service Managers with a best practice guide regarding the environment. In order to promote accountability in our staff it will become part of every Managers’ objectives to integrate as many initiatives as possible on their site.
MailSource UK’s environmental drive comes to life with initiatives such as “Dump the Junk”, “Close The Loop” and “Pallet Take Back & Recycling” to mention just a few examples. MailSource UK aims to transfer knowledge on such best practice initiatives and leverage it across the company and beyond. All employees are being issued with the latest Best Practice Guide on the environmental initiatives that MailSource UK is engaged in. The Guide is meant to be lived and breathed by all employees and gives practical advice on best practice regarding the environment.
